You’re a little dim

你的身体会发光！

Your body gives off a tiny amount of visible (可见的) light. It’s too weak for the eyes to see. In fact, all living things emit (发出) very weak light. It’s thought to be a byproduct of biochemical reactions (生化反应). This visible light is different from the infrared radiation (红外线) – a kind of invisible (不可见的) light – that comes from body heat.  

人体会发出微弱的可见光，但太微弱我们肉眼很难看到。事实上，所有生物都会发出或多或少的微弱光芒——这种光和生化反应有关，与人体释放的红外线可不是一回事！
