·       2004 – 2005                  Clerical  assistant  for  E  F  Medical  Research,  involving  liaison  with  healthcare  professionals  and interviewers, office administration, order processing and data entry. The role necessited a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in addition to occasional translating and interpreting tasks.
 
·    2007 to date                  French examiner (written scripts) for the London-based examination board Edexcel.
 
·    2007                               French teacher and curriculum developer for City School of Languages in Swansea.
 
·    2005-2008                     A-Level French lecturer for Gorseinon College, Swansea.

Professional Translation & Proofreading Experience
Having aspirations to be a translator from childhood, I began seeking voluntary assignments with charitable organisations such as The International Alliance of Inhabitants, following graduation in 2003. Since qualifying in 2007, I have sought in earnest to develop my skills through building a diverse portfolio of projects in terms of subject matter and format. I have thereby acquired a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Babylon-Pro, GDT, Termium and MSN. I also have some experience in using Adobe Illustrator. Most importantly, I now have considerable experience with CAT tools - notably Trados (including Multiterm and TagEditor), Transit (including TermStar). I also have limited knowledge of Wordfast.
